Position: Manufacturing Planner
Pay Rate/Range: $50K-$65K DOE
Description:
Works with both managers and production employees to ensure the company hits its production goals on time and within budget. Handle all the scheduling and ensure the materials, machines and workspaces are ready to go to increase production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Creating Bills of Materials
Analyzing customer supplied data
Coordinating manufacturing processes
Implementing strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency
Overseeing the workflow of the production hub or facility
Coordinating the production of one or more products
Ensuring the promptness and accuracy of the production process
Scheduling and coordinating the manufacturing process to increase efficiency, minimize waste, and optimize resources
Having expertise in planning, organizing, and evaluating production schedules, raw materials, and labor requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience planning in a manufacturing environment
Experience with following quality and engineering standards
Ability to read and interpret technical documents
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience Planning in a relevant industry.
Relevant Degree preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and Project Management software
Ability to move through facility and up and down stairs. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to visually see hard copy customer/engineering specifications
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st Shift 8am-5pm
