Deburr 2nd Shift (4:30pm-1am)

Position: Deburr 2^nd Shift (4:30pm-1am)

Pay Rate/Range: $17-$20 hour DOE

Description: Primary responsibility is sanding/deburring and grinding finished production parts. Primary duties include sand/debur and grind finished parts, operating sanders, drill and other power and hand tools, polishing metal or non-metal surfaces, other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue Request for Quotes to suppliers in support of tooling requirements.  Communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices and lead time in support of operations.

Monitor stock levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery while reducing overall inventory. Develop kitting programs where possible to aid in the manufacturing process.  Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures. Organize and maintain a clean workspace to allow for timely location of items. 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Experience with hand tools.

Job Requirements: Attention to detail, ability to use hand tools, ability to adhere to quality standards, ability to move through facility and up and down stairs. Ability to be on your feet for multiple hours a day, ability to lift 40 lbs., job requires walking, carrying, reaching, sitting, standing, requires use of both hands pushing, pulling, and ability to hold and use hand tools. Must have steel toed boots.
