Job Title: 2nd Shift Laser Operator Pay $20

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laser Operator to join our 2nd shift team. The Laser Operator will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Set up and operate laser cutting machines according to work orders and blueprints.
* Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
* Program machine controls for new jobs and make adjustments as necessary.
* Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to ensure accuracy to specifications.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal operation.
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency.
* Maintain clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety policies.
* Follow all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to supervision.
* Work closely with team members, supervisors, and quality control to meet production goals.
**Qualifications:**
* Prior experience operating laser cutting machines (Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic, Mazak, or similar equipment preferred).
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Strong understanding of measuring tools and quality control procedures.
* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus.
**Preferred Experience:**
* Experience with metal fabrication, CNC programming, or manufacturing processes.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes.
* Forklift certification is a plus.
