Job Title: Receiving Clerk 6a-4:30p Department: 330
Job Summary: As a member of the warehouse team, the Receiving Clerk monitors, controls and maintains accurate warehouse inventory. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Receiving Clerk receives, kits and delivers parts to support manufacturing to meet the schedule on time. This position works closely with production lines and does require operating and driving a forklift.
Responsibilities:
• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
• Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
• Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock and maintains records
• Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
• Maintains storage location of parts and the stock of parts
• Maintains records/PC used for the daily cycle counting, kitting and delivering of parts
• Checks incoming material for quality and accuracy and reports discrepancies to the Team Leader and or Supervisor.
• Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.
• Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
• Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
• Makes adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock.
• Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
• Maintains material -handling equipment such as forklift, scanners, hand tools etc.
• Conducts cycle counts on parts and report discrepancies to Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Picks up and delivers parts to tmanufacturing.in a timely manner according the MPP program.
• Completes daily housekeeping by sweeping floor in area and trash removal
Knowledge/Skills:
• High School Diploma
Qualifications:
• 5 years previous warehouse experience
• Previous Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Previous forklift experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with AS400 preferred
• Forklift license preferred or must be willing to train and receive license upon hire
Pay: $16.78 to $17.77 pay DOE
Position could be Direct placement or temp to hire
NO MMA Cards & must pass Clinic Drug test and physical
background check felony friendly but nothing violent or sexual in nature
Mandantory OT on Friday and Saturday if scheduled to work
