Position: Production Worker Pay Rate/Range: $16.20 Description: Will pack beef patties into a box neatly from a conveyor belt. This is a repetitive position that consists of doing the same thing for 8-10 hours a day, while standing on your feet in a cold environment. Job Duties: This position requires that candidates stand and walk primarily on a level surface for periodic periods of time throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required. May include lifting up to 42 lbs for finished cases on occasion. The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection are required. The work environment is refrigerated room temperatures, lighting and traditional processing equipment as found in a typical production environment, wet environment that can be slippery, in certain areas, there may be stairs that have to be climbed in the course of the workday. Previous food industry, production or manufacturing experience is preferred.
