Position Overview 


The Administrative Assistant will work under minimal supervision and on own initiative. Perform standard and advanced administrative work to support the plant. Assist Plant Management with administrative responsibilities.  Position requires superior administrative and organizational skills, a thorough knowledge of practices and procedures of the function, company policies and procedures.   


Essential Job Functions:


  • Answer and screen telephone calls and route to the appropriate parties
  • Greets and escorts visitors
  • Assist employees and other staff
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships, serves as primary contact for the organization when working with internal and/or external resources to meet departmental objectives.
  • Provide clerical support to Plant management
  • Responds to request and circulates information to other staff as needed including senior staff.
  • Conduct research, compile data and prepare documentation as requested
  • Process plant documentation to create, update and maintain invoices
  • Enters and maintains updated ERP system and time reports.
  • Creates/maintains a wide variety of documents such as reports, spreadsheets and presentations
  • Helps to organize conferences and meetings, sometimes involving large number of attendees or complex arrangements.
  • Order and maintain supplies
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email
  • Prepare outgoing mail
  • Other various task as assigned

Basic Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years of advanced administrative experience
  • Highly proficient skills with the latest versions of MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must possess interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to recognize and treat information with required appropriate confidentiality
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of facility location will be considered.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Administrative experience in manufacturing environment

  • Vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Vision to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens.

  • This individual should be instrumental in driving a Safety-minded culture


Shift:  8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday
