Position: Accounting Technician
Pay Range: $18.00 hr
Reports to: Accounting Manager
Job Summary:
The Accounting Technician performs the following: processes inbound fiber receipts and inbound fiber freight invoices; maintains the company's
accounts payable records; makes approved payments using the Dynamics SL software systems; maintains accounts payable journal; processing,
entry and payment matching of documents; makes approved payments and payable entries through the accounts payable system, creates the
month-end accrual of outstanding invoices as well as provides assistance in other areas as directed.
Requirements:
- Experience in bookkeeping, and general accounting methods and procedures. Must be technically qualified in bookkeeping techniques and general accounting skills
- Ability to evaluate, calculate, interpret, compare, analyze, and edit accounting information.
- Strong computer skills required for this position include MS Office and Dynamics SL, strong math skills and 10-key ability are required
- Must be able to multitask
- Ability to sit and type/keyboard for long periods of time, grasp, turn wrist, reach, stretch, and file documents.
- Must maintain record storage documents.
Schedule: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, no overtime

- HS Diploma/GED or Associates Degree
