Position: Lab Tech
Pay Rate/Range: $18.00
Description: Sweeping, sorting plastics for the recycling process. Must be able to stand for a 12-hour shifts. Facility is hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Their primary roll will be working on the MRB sorting line once they finish a very important task we need done in the lab.
The lab assignment will last four to six weeks and require that they work nights along side a lab tech testing material.
To summarize:
Start date will 1/2/23 and they will report to work at 8:00 a.m. that day for safety training and will work 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Tuesday 1/3/23 they will start working 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
One of them will follow C shift schedule and one will follow D shift schedule.
After the four to six weeks of working with the lab techs they will be reassigned to the MRB line.
Once reassigned to the MRB line they will be informed if they are staying on nights or going to days.
Duties:
Replace trash recycling carts containers neatly
May assist in unloading or cleaning truck clean up waste spills and overflows
provide waste or recycling collection services
- Requirements:
The ability to perform physical requirements of the job prolonged physical exertions including repetitive lifting pushing pulling and climbing
general knowledge of mechanics
ability to work overtime and or holidays
ability to work in all weather conditions
good written and verbal communication skills
PPE will be provided, must wear Steel Toed Boots at work
Minimum Qualifications:
- must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to work and a valid drivers license
- must successfully complete pre-employment screenings and background check
Job Type: Temporary to full time
Shift/Schedule: Night Shift – 7pm to 7am, Monday through Friday, rotating days off, working every other weekend
