Position: Production Technician
Pay Rate/Range: $15 to $17 per hour DOE
Job Description: Safely assemble and test product according to approved guidelines while helping to maintain inventory accuracy and meet established production schedules. With guidance and supervision continuously available, effectively and efficiently assemble and test the basic valve combinations according to documented guidelines and procedures. Complete assigned tasks with high emphasis in Safety, Quality, and Sense of Pace. Assure compliance with Material Traceability, Torque Testing, First Pass Test Stand Datasheet, and Serialization Standards. Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position. Support the maintenance of shop equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Effectively and efficiently use time to safely perform duties. Complete all paperwork in the required manner and period. Demonstrate a willingness to learn to produce new products, use new procedures, and embrace and support change. Operate shop equipment in a safe and approved manner. Follow and support established HSE programs. Report any unsafe situations to appropriate Management Team members if necessary. All other duties or tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements: Ability to read and interpret work instructions. Ability to use and understand basic math and accounting principles. Ability to use hand and power tools. Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to speak, write and read English. Able to work independently or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects. Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines. High School Diploma, GED (General Education Degree), or equivalent. At least one (1) year mechanical experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Must obtain and maintain active OSI-OKC Piper certifications to operate cranes. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb. Extended walking, sitting, and/or standing.
Shift/Schedule: M-F 7:00am – 3:45pm with two paid 15-minute breaks (AM and PM) and an unpaid 45-minute lunch period. There’s potential for overtime and Saturday work. Will attempt to provide as much notice as possible.
