STRIP ETCH STRIP Perform dry film and tin strip operations to obtain proper removal of dry film and tin, respectively; and perform etch operations to achieve proper base copper removal while maintaining trace and space tolerances, all in accordance with wastewater pretreatment regulations. Responsible for safe chemical processing practices and proper handling techniques. Monitor inventory and notify purchasing when materials and supplies are needed. Required competencies include adaptability, teamwork and quality. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ? Operate conveyor chemical processing equipment ? Follow procedures accurately and efficiently ? Inspect product visually and with the use of stand microscopes ? Perform preventive maintenance tasks ? Monitor and maintain all components of the equipment including power supplies, pumps, heaters, chemicals and water lines ? Monitor bath parameters and notify lab personnel when not consistent ? Complete chemistry additions and bath changes as prescribed ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS ? Assist lab personnel as required ? Identify scrap and its causes ? Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS ? Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals ? Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals ?
