Job Title: Facilities & Maintenance Manager
MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF RECENT FACILITY MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING 1 YEAR OF LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations, lead a team of technicians, and ensure the smooth, safe, and continuous operation of all facility equipment.
Requirements for Facilities & Maintenance Manager:
• Minimum 5 years of recent facility maintenance experience, including at least 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
• Experience with HVAC systems, air compressors, boilers, chillers, and water purification equipment.
• Familiarity with MIG/TIG welding, metal fabrication, and use of saws, grinders, and cutting torches.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, kneel, crouch, and work at heights as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general desktop technology.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently (Spanish a plus).
• Prior experience in roles such as Maintenance Supervisor, Facilities Supervisor, Maintenance Lead, Facilities Technician, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Building Maintenance Manager, or Maintenance Engineer is a plus!

Responsibilities of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager:
• Lead, supervise, and schedule daily activities of maintenance and janitorial staff.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance involving electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, and metal fabrication.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, repair components, and ensure proper function of facility systems.
• Operate and assist in maintaining heating and cooling units, fans, and related equipment.
• Perform metal fabrication tasks using welding equipment and cutting tools.
• Prepare work orders, inspection forms, and maintenance documentation.
• Manage attendance, approve time off requests, and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Train new maintenance team members and provide continuous coaching.
• Coordinate with other departments to complete maintenance projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, promoting proper PPE use and compliance with safety procedures.
• Support maintenance needs across equipment such as CNC machines, plating, sandblasting, polishing, PVD, and other industrial processes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
