Connect Staffing is seeking to hire Packers for a food manufacturing company in the city of Colton, CA. This company manufactures bread, nutritional bars, cookies and much more! 

Shift: 3rd Monday - Friday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Requirements for Packer

• Minimum 6 months experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely push/pull trays of cookies and bars as needed.
• Ability to lift trays or containers weighing up to 20 lbs on an occasional basis.
• Must have steel toe boots (required for all shifts).
• Reliable transportation to Colton, CA.
• Prior experience in roles such as Food Production Associate, Assembly Line Worker, Packaging Machine Operator, Bakery Assistant, Food Handler, Food Manufacturing Worker, or Warehouse Production Worker is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Packer

• Stack bars in various configurations as they pass by on conveyor belts.
• Identify and remove damaged or defective items into designated bins.
• Place products in the conveyor to be wrapped for packaging.
• Manually lift and carry trays and packages up to 20 lbs on occasion.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
• Follow rotation schedule and detailed instructions from supervisors.
• Work safely, independently, and respond to regular, direct feedback.
