Water Damage Technician

MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT WATER DAMAGE TECHNICIAN OR RESTORATION EXPERIENCE.

Connect Staffing is seeking a Water Damage Technician for a restoration company that restores fire, water, and smoke damage in the city of Irvine, CA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM 

Requirements of a Water Damage Technician:

• Minimum 6 months of recent water damage technician experience
• Must pass background and drug screen
• Must have a valid driver's license 
• Must have a familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Prior experience in roles such as Construction Laborer, Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, and Equipment Operator is a plus!

Responsibilities of a Water Damage Technician :

• Helping skilled workers like carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with their tasks, such as carrying materials, holding tools, or cleaning up work areas. 
• Respond to emergency calls for water, fire, and mold damage promptly and efficiently.
• Clean and decontaminate affected areas and contents.
• Perform specialized cleaning tasks for fire and smoke damage, including soot removal and odor control.
• Conduct mold remediation procedures, including containment, air scrubbing, and removal of contaminated materials.
•  Properly operate, clean, and maintain all restoration equipment (e.g., extractors, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, generators). 
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and project managers.
