MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF RECENT FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to fill an opening at a nutritional bar manufacturing company in Los Alamitos, CA.
Schedule:
Monday – Sunday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm, with OT as required
Days vary – must be flexible and open to working weekends.
Requirements for Forklift Operator:
1 year of recent forklift experience in a warehouse or production environment.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Bilingual English/Spanish
Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including rapid-paced work.
Must be able to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
Must have steel toe shoes – other PPE provided on site.
Prior experience in roles such as Sit-Down Forklift Operator, Forklift Driver, Material Handler, Warehouse Loader, Dock Worker, or Forklift Technician is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:
Load and unload containers of finished goods and raw materials
Manually lift and stack boxes up to 30 lbs. as needed
Move inventory to designated storage areas using a sit-down forklift
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards to avoid contamination
