Connect Staffing is looking for an experienced Fiberglass Fabricator for a manufacturer of custom fiberglass materials and components in Humble, TX.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm + OT as requested
Requirements of the Fiberglass Fabricator:
- Minimum 1 year of fiberglass fabrication experience
- Pass a background check, drug test and physical
- Ability to use grinding, cutting and trimming tools
- Ability to read and understand fabrication shop drawings
- Possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card (to access marine facilities)
- Ability to travel offshore US for short periods on oil and gas platforms, with required offshore survival training (BOISET)
- Bilingual English/Spanish is Plus!
- Prior experience in roles such as a Fiberglass Fabricator, Oil & Gas Composite Fabricator, Offshore Fabrication Specialist, or Carpenter a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Fiberglass Fabricator:
Lay up and mold fiberglass materials using hand and power tools, rollers, and brushes in accordance with blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
Cut, trim, and shape fiberglass parts using shears, routers, and other cutting tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
Apply resin and hardeners to layers of fiberglass to build up strength and durability for custom composite parts.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to fabricate parts to required standards.
Sand, grind, and finish composite surfaces to meet smoothness and dimensional requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper handling of hazardous materials.
