Connect Staffing is seeking a committed Customer Service Clerk for a pawn shop in Stanton, CA. 


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:45 am - 6:15 pm. 


Requirements for the Customer Service Clerk: 

  • Must have at least 6 months of recent customer service experience
  • Must speak English or be Bilingual 
  • Must be able to pass E-Verify, Drug Screen, and Background Check
  • Prior experience in roles such as Cashier, Sales Clerk, Customer Service Representative, Retail Associate, and Secondhand Store Clerk is a plus!

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Clerk:
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is attractively displayed.
  • Evaluate and appraise items brought in by customers for pawn or sale.
  • Process pawn transactions accurately and efficiently, explaining terms and conditions clearly.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking.
  • Assist customers with purchasing merchandise, providing product information and closing sales.
