Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to fill an opening at a manufacturer of power inverters in Houston, TX.


Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm


Requirements of the Maintenance Coordinator:

  • Three years of experience in Business Administration, Operation management, Customer service, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred experience in the Solar, BESS or energy industry
  • Experience with Airtable is a plus
  • Service planning and scheduling experience is preferred
  • Technical problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Data-driven decision-making ability
  • Organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach and strong initiative
  • Strong technical support focus with a service-oriented attitude towards both the Sales team and customers
  • Prior experience in roles such as Maintenance Scheduler, Maintenance Planner, Field Service Coordinator, Technical Service Scheduler, Operations Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Planning Analyst, or Service Operations Analyst is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Coordinator:

  • Coordinate with Power Management Platform (PMP) engineers and customers to deliver clear, practical and well-organized preventative maintenance service plans.
  • Request quotations and coordinate the dispatch of 3rd party vendors to provide onsite maintenance service.
  • Issue Purchase Orders or Task Orders as required for Vendors.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively by phone and email with Vendors on spare parts needs, dispatching and return of material.
  • Communicates with customers on the status of the arrival of Vendors and/or materials.
  • Review dispatch board to ensure Vendor’s schedules make best use of time/costs.
  • Review maintenance reports that are turned in and ensures all required information are input by Vendors.
  • Assists in maintaining PMP planning database, including customer data, service date, service location, and service status.
  • Assists in maintaining PMP reports database, including service reports and data/photos.
  • Build and track required plans and schedules to conduct maintenance activities for multiple project and sites as assigned.
