MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE AS A SANITATION/JANITOR WORKER IN A WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT 


Connect Staffing is seeking to hire a Sanitation Technician for a beverage manufacturing company in the city of San Bernardino.  


Shift: 2nd Shift 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Training will be on 1st Shift 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM)
Flexibility with OT required


Requirements of the Quality technician:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a sanitation/janitorial worker in a warehouse environment using mobile cleaning equipment preferred
  • Ability to operate industrial cleaning machines (e.g., pressure washers, floor scrubbers)

  • Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical technical data sheets

  • Ability to perform tasks in accordance with safety protocols to prevent accidents and contamination.

  • Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and food safety standards

  • Ability to identify potential sanitation issues before they become problems

  • Must be able to follow lockout/tagout procedures for equipment cleaning

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment with varying temperatures

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts as needed

  • Prior experience in roles such as a Sanitation Worker, Janitor, Warehouse Cleaner, Cleaning Technician, or similar positions is a plus.

Responsibilities for Quality Technician:

  • Adhere to all health and safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in the warehouse and production areas
  • Prepare production equipment for cleaning and follow lockout/tagout procedures as required
  • Use cleaning chemicals as per label instructions and safety guidelines
  • Sanitize and clean production equipment (e.g., containers, rinsers, warmers, pasteurizers)
  • Clean and sanitize conveyors, conveying equipment, drip pans, rails, floors, drains, and ceilings in production and warehouse areas.
  • Perform general cleaning of the facility, including bathrooms, trash cans, office areas, and parking lots
  • Verify sanitation effectiveness through visual inspection and chemical concentration testing
  • Maintain accurate sanitation documentation and ensure completion of the Master Sanitation Schedule
  • Ensure minimal downtime during sanitation and pre-operational inspections
