Field Service Technician

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2-3 YEARS OF RECENT ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is looking for a dedicated Electrical Technician to join a leading distribution company in North Houston!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm or 7:00am - 4:00pm (Depending on work orders)

Field Service Technician Requirements:

• Must have at least 2-3 years of recent electrical/mechanical experience
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Ability to pass a background check and a drug test.
• Experience in troubleshooting PLCs and AC/DC circuits.
• Must have reliable transportation/valid drivers license.
• Proficient in using electrical/mechanical systems and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Prior experience in roles such as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Technician is a big plus!

Field Service Technician Responsibilites:

• Travel to different job-sites and provide on-site support and technical assistance.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair complex electromechanical systems. 
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electro-mechanical systems/equipment.
• Install new products, equipment, or upgrades and conduct repairs if needed.
• Document your visitation to visits you serviced that included any issues, troubleshooting actions and maintenance activities.
