Connect Staffing is looking for an eager Warehouse Associate associate to join a manufacturing company in East Houston!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Warehouse Associate Requirements:
- Must have at least one year of shipping & receiving experience.
- Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to use an RF Scanner.
- Must be able to operate a sit down forklift.
- Prior experience in roles such as a Forklift Operator or Warehouse Associate is a big plus!

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
- Use an RF Scanner to pick and locate products within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including quantities and conditions of items received or shipped.
- Inspect received goods for damages or discrepancies against purchase orders and packing slips; report any issues to management.
- Prepare shipments by packaging items securely and affixing appropriate labels, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch of orders.
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring products are handled with care and placed correctly.
- Complete necessary paperwork such as shipping manifests, bills of lading, and inventory reports accurately and promptly.
