Warehouse Associate

MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR OF WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

Connect Staffing is looking to hire seasonal warehouse associates for a leading retail distributor in Conroe, TX!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of warehouse experience is required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
• Must be able to use RF scanner.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Warehouse associate Responsibilities

• Perform jobs in various areas in the warehouse, such as the shipping department, unloading of containers, or any other positions in the warehouse.
• Check the quantity and quality of items received, verifying them against purchase orders, and ensuring accurate documentation. 
• Accurately select items and be able to verify items as selected.
• Organize and store merchandise in designated locations within the warehouse, update inventory systems, and conduct regular stock counts to reconcile discrepancies.
• Pick items from shelves or bins according to order specifications. 
• Pack items to prevent damage during transit and ensure that orders are accurately processed for shipment.
• Label packages, arrange shipments with logistics providers, and load goods onto trucks in a timely manner.
