Painter

MINIMUM 6 MONTHS IN PAINTING AND SANDBLASTING PARTS.

Connect Staffing is seeking a skilled Painter for a sandblasting and coating company in the city of Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Schedule: 1st shift Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM over till 4:30 PM when needed and Saturday availability. 

Requirements of a Painter:

• Minimum 6 months in Painting and sandblasting parts
• Must pass background, drug screen, and E-verify
• Experience using HVLP, Airless, and gravity gun.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and solvents for different paints
• Knowledge of mechanics of paint equipment 
• Prior experience in roles such as Industrial Painter and Sandblaster, Surface Preparation Specialist, Protective Coatings Technician, Metal Finishing Specialist, and Blast and Paint Technician is a plus!

Responsibilities of a Painter:

• Paint company products using airless paint systems, pressure pots, spray guns, rollers, and brushes.
• Prepare surfaces for painting
• Perform quality checks regularly and perform touch-ups when necessary 
• Keep track of paint used and report to the office every day by using a paint log.
• Perform tests if necessary for paint reports, or quality assurance and report results to the office.
• Clean equipment after each use.
