Connect Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler / Assembly Technician who is ready to work for a company that builds and modifies trailers for electrical generators in the city of Cypress, CA.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:45pm. No weekends.
Requirements For Assembler Technician:
- Minimum 6 months recent mechanical assembly experience or similar.
- Strong ability to use hand and power tools.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have steel toe shoes or boots
Prior experience in roles such as assembly technician, mechanical assembler, mechanical assembly tech, maintenance technician, furniture assembler, HVAC technician, or any assembly-related position using hand tools and power tools is a plus!

Responsibilities For Assembler Technician:
- Assemble trailers using basic hand tools and compressor tools.
- Work off basic blue prints and follow instruction in building trailers.
- Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
- Follow basic instructions when adding modifications to trailers.
- Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
- Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
