Material Handler

MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN MATERIAL HANDLING WITHIN A MANUFACTURE.

Connect Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated Saw Operator for a leading supplier of metals and titanium for the aerospace industry in the city of Garden Grove, CA

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a material handling role within a manufacturer.
• Must have a full understanding of all operational equipment 
• Possess an overall working knowledge of ERP systems (Stratix). 
• Ability to process any work order through the entire “packaging” ip.    
• Consistent professional and written communication
• Ability to assist in implementing procedures aimed at reducing shipping/packaging errors.  
• Prior experience in roles such as Warehouse Operator, Stockroom Clerk, Shipping and Receiving Associate, Inventory Control Technician, and or Freight Handler is a huge plus!

Responsibilities:

• Correctly record all IP processes in our ERP system (Stratix) as well as all written requirement of the work orders. 
• Understand efficient utilization of equipment.  
• Verify all work order shipping instructions while strictly adhering to packaging standards.   
• Meet all daily scheduled requirements. 
• Perform maintenance programs including daily checklists. 
• Use only equipment that you have been trained on.
• Utilize and maintain the tools provided for to do the job within all safety and packaging standards.
• Comprehends all inventory control, traceability, and inventory processes and maintains accurate and orderly storage of products.  
• Adheres to all best practices per the company policies.
