Connect Staffing is looking for a dedicated CNC Programmer to join a leading manufacturing company in North Houston!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
CNC Programmer Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years of CNC programming experience
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
- Ability to lift 50+lbs
- Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, CNC programs and work orders.

CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
- Develop complex CNC programs for 5 axis machining centers, vertical mills with and without 4th axis rotaries, horizontal mills & Fanuc lathes with live tooling and Y axis.
- Select cutting tools and assist in designs to set up the machines.
- Utilize computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and related computer technology to develop programs and tool path models
- Report machine performances by evaluating and communicating any discrepancies.
- Perform trouble shooting on CNC programs when needed by operators.
- Efficiently create models and blueprints.
- Assist in training with other CNC programmers as advised.
