Connect Staffing is seeking a Customer Service/Sales Representative for a wire manufacturer located in the city of Stanton, Ca.


Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm No weekends.


Requirements of a Customer Service/Sales Representative:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in customer service, customer support, inside sales, and office assistant.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial B2B environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of JobBoss or other job production software is a plus!
  • Prior experience as a sales and service coordinator, account management, sales support specialist a plus!

Responsibilities of a Customer Service/Sales Representative:

  • Prepares customer quotes and proposals for price and delivery.
  • Types proposals, letters, and miscellaneous correspondence and communicate via e-mail, telephone, or personally with customers.
  • Monitors production orders, tracks orders for customers, and expedites delivery per customer requests.
  • Negotiates with customers, assesses areas of dispute, and amends contracts when required.
  • Serves as liaison with manufacturing, quality assurance, and shipping personnel on production orders and coordinates shipping releases.
  • Answers customer sales calls and provides information as needed.
  • Receives and processes new customer orders.
  • Check purchase orders for correct pricing and delivery, and contact customers when needed.
  • Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information or resolve customer disputes.
  • Serve as backup for completion of all invoicing and shipping documentation.
