As a privately owned and dynamic fluid/gas systems manufacturing company, they are seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Supply Chain Supervisor. 


Description:


As a Supply Chain Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in executing supply chain and production control strategies aligned with our business goals. This multifaceted position involves engaging in all aspects of purchasing, supporting production planning, work order administration, material receiving, inventory management, and warehousing. Your primary responsibility is to ensure an uninterrupted supply of critical materials, implement effective cost-control measures, and maintain accurate inventory counts.


To excel in this role, we're seeking an individual with high energy, a strong work ethic, and a problem-solving mindset. This position requires a hands-on approach and active involvement in day-to-day operations.


**Responsibilities:**

- Execute procedures in procurement, receiving, warehousing, and inventory.

- Implement procurement strategies based on business backlog, usage trends, inventory levels, and sales forecasts.

- Review system requirements and lead times for timely release of work orders to Production.

- Purchase supplies and materials by Engineering specifications.

- Coordinate with Planner and Warehouse to ensure a smooth flow of product and jobs.

- Control inventory levels to prevent stockouts.

- Develop a program for alternate supply options to reduce single-source risks.

- Maintain the accuracy of data in the ERP/MRP system.

- Establish and maintain a Supplier Managed Inventory program for strategic vendors.

- Support accurate inventory measurements for month-end and year-end counts.

- Engage with existing suppliers, documenting accurate lead times and on-time deliveries.

- Keep detailed records on all procurement activity.

- Develop and ensure compliance with KPIs for proper materials management and cost containment.

- Other duties as assigned.


Skills/Qualifications:

- Some college preferred, Bachelors Degree preferred in Supply Chain Management

- 4-6 years in a manufacturing environment and supply chain and inventory management systems.

- 2 years in a supervisory role or Project Manager

- Worked in a company with the range of $25-$50 million in revenue

- Strong analytical skills

-Proficient in Excel, Pivot Table, and VLookups

- Experience in purchasing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehousing.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Proven problem-solving skills.

- Experience designing ERP customizations tailored to purchasing best practices. Epicor preferred


Salary: $90-$110K depending on experience
