Pay: $18.25 per hour
Job Summary:
Reports, Production or Distribution Leader Position Summary Material Handler Associates members have a tremendous impact on our organization by supporting the Production and Distribution teams to ensure overall company success.
- Responsible for storing and distributing materials, resources, and equipment in accordance with established procedures and standards. Following Kanban inventory methods to ensure accurate inventory and prevent stock outages.
- The company utilizes the ‘Architecture for Excellence’ system for leadership where each associate participates in the direction of their team as guided by our values of ownership, teamwork, and team-based leadership.
Essential Functions
- Required to safely and effectively operate powered industrial trucks (“PITs”), including forklifts Responsible for storing and distributing materials, resources, and equipment
- Verify quantity and good condition of items and materials received and shipped
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence or product code in relation to computer system locations
- Stacks materials neatly and safely within rack locations
- Assists in maintaining material inventory levels using the Kanban inventory method
- Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the shipping area
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Education Qualifications Requirements
- An equivalent combination of educational classes and experience is required
- 0-2 years of shipping and receiving experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to obtain certification to operate a forklift and/or other PITs
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through Physical Demands and Working Environment
- Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
- Wear appropriate safety equipment
- Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel
- Flexible to overtime as needed to meet occasional spikes in production demand
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include, but are not limited to, the following: close vision, distance vision, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust or focus
- A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are warm/hot and noise levels can be moderate to high Additional Requirements
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

**High School Diploma/GED
**Must pass Drug Screen including (THC) Background and Everify.
