Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 6-10 Maintenance Mechanics, driving towards excellence in maintenance practices and ensuring seamless operations. Here's a glimpse of what your role entails
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians to achieve established maintenance goals, emphasizing quality, safety, efficiency, and workplace organization.
- Support production activities by maintaining production equipment and facility systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
- Manage the educational pay program for maintenance technicians, fostering continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team to implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs, enhancing equipment reliability.
- Participate in product support teams to improve equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Manage parts inventory, purchase requisitions, and budget allocations for equipment repairs and supplies, ensuring smooth procurement processes.
- Troubleshoot production floor issues, prioritize work orders, and delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Utilize corporate maintenance management systems to measure team performance and drive towards "World Class Maintenance" standards.
- Provide safety training for the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and corporate safety protocols.
- Communicate equipment repair status updates to manufacturing teams, facilitating seamless coordination.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturer representatives to conduct repairs and major preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain daily contact with hourly employees and plant management, fostering open communication and teamwork.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and or Significant Related Experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a knack for problem-solving and conflict management.
- Demonstrated initiative, follow-through, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in maintenance or supervising within a maintenance department preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in refrigeration or high-end consumer products, is desirable.
- Familiarity with Windows-based PC software, AS400 ERP Systems, and MAXIMO is a plus.
