Primary Responsibilities:


As our Safety Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of championing safety awareness within our facilities. Your mission? To collaborate with our internal team in cultivating a workplace where accidents are a thing of the past. Here's a snapshot of what you'll be up to:


Duties:

  • Spearhead the implementation of company safety policies across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Offer expert guidance on health and safety matters, delivering accurate technical advice when needed.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on safety standards through routine internal audits.
  • Dive deep into accident investigations, pinpointing root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Pave the way for safety in the face of evolving technology by developing and implementing safe procedures for cutting-edge equipment and processes.
  • Lead the charge in disseminating safety initiatives through comprehensive training programs, from compliance essentials to technical know-how.
  • Take the helm in driving safety improvements as a key member of the Safety Team at each site.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in an Employee Health and Safety role within a manufacturing environment.

- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, environmental, and Workers' Compensation regulations.

- Exceptional presentation skills, both in preparation and delivery.

- Proficiency in using computers to maintain and track safety data.
