JOB TITLE:
- Industrial Electrician and Equipment Maintenance
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician responsible for maintaining, inspecting, testing, and completing generator toolkits for various site projects. This role involves ensuring toolkits meet quality standards and adhere to project schedules. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in electrical tasks, a strong commitment to safety, and a knack for detailed work.
PAY:
- $31.00-$38.00/hour
LOCATION:
- Goodyear, AZ 85338
SHIFT:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (approximately)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uphold warehouse safety standards and follow all safety guidelines.
- Perform visual, electrical, mechanical, and electronic inspections of tools, identifying any compliance issues.
- Test and troubleshoot generator components and large electrical equipment.
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical components and equipment.
- Interpret line drawings for repair, troubleshooting, and electrical code adherence.
- Follow Standard Maintenance Protocols and comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Repair and maintain test and industrial equipment, including hand solder repairs.
- Be available for emergency equipment troubleshooting.
- Manage generator toolkit inventory, ensuring proper tool availability.
- Coordinate, label, and package tooling for outage projects.
- Perform quality checks on kits, including template and calibration certificate verification.
- Ensure timely completion of kit assembly and delivery without quality issues.
- Review returned tool inventory to confirm all items are present as per inventory sheets.
- Clean, reorganize, and relabel returned toolkits.
- Submit restock requests for tools and replacement parts.
- Complete annual safety training.
- Be willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Travel may be required for field assignments.
- Fulfill other duties aligned with the organization's goals and values.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical and maintenance.
- Arc Flash Trained.
- Experience with high voltage systems (at least 480V,)
- Electrical schooling or relevant experience.
- Proficiency in moderate computer tasks.
- Knowledge of both AC and DC electrical systems.
- Strong teamwork, communication, organizational skills, and English proficiency.
- Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
BONUS CHARACTERISTICS:
- Certified Electrician or ARC Flash certification.
- Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller languages.
- Familiarity with industry-standard codes and regulations.
- Experience with industrial and specialized equipment, including PLC systems.
- CAD experience and ability to interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
High School Diploma a must. Trade school or certification preffered
