Job Title: Electrical Test Equipment Tech

Summary:

We're seeking an Electrical Test Equipment Tech to manage inventory, inspect, and test generator toolkits for various site projects. This entry-level position suits candidates entering the field, involving tasks like updating project schedules post-inspection and assembling toolkits.

Pay: $27/hour

Location: Swanee, Georgia 30024

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (approximately)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain warehouse safety standards and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Conduct visual, electrical, mechanical, and electronic inspections of tools, flagging any non-compliant items.
• Assist in testing all generator components on large electrical equipment.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of electrical components and equipment, including preventative maintenance.
• Learn to interpret line drawings for repair and troubleshooting, and understand electrical codes.
• Comply with Standard Maintenance Protocols and meet site safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining test and industrial equipment, including hand solder repairs.
• Be available for on-call emergency equipment troubleshooting.
• Manage inventory of generator toolkits, ensuring proper tool availability.
• Coordinate, label, and package tooling for outage projects.
• Conduct quality checks on kits, ensuring completeness and proper documentation.
• Review returned tool inventory against inventory sheets for accuracy.
• Clean, reorganize, and relabel returned toolkits.

Note: These are direct hire, full-time positions with full benefits. They are not temporary jobs.
