Qualifications and Education Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred

- 10 years of Aerospace quality inspection and supervisory experience

- AS9100 FAI

- Experience with welded assemblies and complex sheet metal

- Experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma

- Able to understand geometric dimensions and tolerances

- Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings, specifications, and customer documents

- Quality-oriented with a hands-on personality, “do it right the first time” attitude

- Self-starter with experience in fast-paced environments

- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and follow-up skills

- Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Word and Excel

- Ability to handle the walking, lifting, bending, stair climbing, and stooping required to perform the job

- Possess a high degree of initiative and be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision

- Team-oriented, possessing the ability to work cohesively with others to accomplish assigned responsibilities

- NetInspect proficient


Additional Requirements

- Must be a US Citizen or have a Permanent Resident Card (ITAR facility)

- Proficient with Net-Inspect and AS9102 requirements preferred

- Pratt & Whitney FAI’s experience required

- Previous Pratt CLSCR experience/certification preferred

- Previous DPRV (Delegated Product Release Verification) certification/experience per AS9117 preferred

- Working knowledge of AS13100/13001 with industry experience required

- Familiar with complex sheet metal, welded assemblies, and machined aerospace parts

- Detailed knowledge of PWA and PWC specifications

- Previous experience with LCS/MCL product requirements

- Familiar with Pratt APQP and ASQR-01 requirements
