POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

•Oversee all Project Technicians•Provide regular project support•Assist Sales Team with initial site walk and provide scope of work requirements•Perform site walks at start and completion of all projects•Clearly and consistently communicate project schedule and expectations to team daily•Provide project insight on work orders as questions arise•Recruit, interview, and coordinate new team member training and orientation•Ensure completion of all documentation, including but not limited to new hires, promotions, performancereviews, disciplinary action, development plans, and terminations•Inspire the department and facilitate team’s personal and professional growth•Monitor and evaluate team performance and personal conduct•Address issues that arise within the department and work directly with team to resolve•Manage and forecast manpower requirements and department needs•Set long-term and short-term department goals and evaluate the outcomes•Ensure the highest level of productivity and quality is always maintained by department•Monitor and enforce safety procedures and guidelines•Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as industry requirements•Promote a diversified company culture that encourages top performance and high morale•Maintain a close working relationship with the Project Dispatcher, HVAC Coordinator, and Sales Team•Facilitate open communication with team and management•Seek guidance and coaching from HVAC Supervisor•Regularly communicate and report department progress, needs, concerns, etc. to HVAC Supervisor•Other duties, as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

•Associates degree or certification in project management, applied science, or related field

•10 years’ experience in the HVAC industry, or equivalent training and experience

•Tech registration with TDLR

•EPA Universal Certification

•Strong leadership, coaching, and training skills

•Driven and passionate about our company vision, developing our team, and serving our customers

•Highly organized and diligent

•Exceptional interpersonal skills, including excellent active listening skills

•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

•Advanced problem-solving skills

•Adaptability in a face-paced, rapidly growing company

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Dynamics 365, Outlook, and Teams

•Understanding of smartphones, mobile applications, VoIP phones, computers, printers, copiers, and modernoffice technology

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

•Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time•Must be able to lift and maneuver large, heavy equipment, parts, and tools, weighing in excess of 50 lbs.•Must be able to work on ladders, lifts, and from high elevations•Must be able to work in confined spaces•Must be able to work in extremely hot and cold climates•Must be on-call and available to team for any personnel or job-related emergencies
