We are currently looking for Maintenance Technicians for a food manufacturing facility in Rock Hill, SC. We are seeking individuals who have strong electrical experience and troubleshooting. A minimum of 5 years of experience of being well rounded/experienced in Mechanical, Electrical and Fabrication/Welding in a manufacturing environment.
Shift Details
1st shift- 6A-8A start time
Pay-Rate: $25-$30 / HR DOE
Job Summary:
Responsible for welding and fabrication projects, Electrical projects and troubleshooting, and repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment used in the production and packaging of products. They will need to regularly inspect equipment, structures or material; work on all requests for the various types of maintenance work assigned to them. An understanding and adherence to company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions is essential
Job Duties:
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Effectively and safely operates standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools.
· Electrical knowledge and troubleshooting.
· Strong electrical control circuits troubleshooting experience.
· Welding and Fabrication experience/skills.
· Perform preventative maintenance from daily up to Annual PMs.
· Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
· Complete minor troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical related issues without direct supervision.
· Maintain work area and equipment by compliance with the established 5s Standards.
· Follow prescribed safety rules and regulation as well as other departmental policies and procedures. Help to develop proper safety techniques.
· Detect, document, report and repair improper machine operation and faulty equipment.
· Diversified skills that will allow assignments to be given in any work areas as required.
· Understand, certify in and comply with our LOTO program.
· Effectively inform through written communication daily pass-downs issues and actions.
· Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics without issue.
· Provide leadership, training and direction when necessary to Operations.
· Comfortable with speaking to a machine service engineer to gather information, report unusual issues and problems for resolution.
Required Competencies & Knowledge:
· Standard practices in maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical components.
· Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
· Knowledge of programmable controllers and their software’s.
