DOE: $16 - $17.50 per hour + performance incentives.
1st Shift: 6:30 AM until finish (based on production levels).
Hours may vary depending on the daily production needs.
Position Overview:
As a Forklift / Blend Operator, you will undergo a 6-month training program, gaining hands-on experience in several areas, including the blending room, park room, and forklift operation (sit-down and stand-up). This temp-to-hire position offers the chance for advancement and long-term employment with the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify ingredients and batch weights before adding to the blender, following the blending procedure.
Accurately maintain all blending documentation.
Clean and sanitize all blenders and related equipment on a daily basis.
Assist in various production tasks to ensure completion of the daily production schedule.
Operate forklifts safely, maneuvering through tight spaces and ensuring all materials are moved efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
Frequently lift up to 50 lbs unassisted during your shift.
Be in good physical condition to handle the demands of the job.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass an E-verify check, background check, and drug test.
Forklift experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to ingredient verification and blending documentation.
Reliable, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work flexible hours.
