A local law firm in New Bern is hiring for their call center. 

This is an IN OFFICE position. 

Hours 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm Friday 

$14/hr. 


Duties: The New Bern office handles calls coming in for the entire state of North Carolina. You will be answering calls from customers seeking legal assistance. This is a fairly busy position, so previous call center experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to type at least 35wpm. 

Other duties will include :

Core duties
  • Client intake: Conduct initial interviews with potential clients, gather their information, and determine if they are a good fit for the firm's services.
  • Appointment scheduling: Schedule consultations, meetings, and court dates directly into attorney calendars.
  • Call handling: Answer inbound calls professionally, screen and route calls to appropriate attorneys or departments, and handle basic questions or inquiries.
  • Information management: Take detailed messages, update client information in the firm's case management system, and send follow-up messages or emails to clients.
  • Administrative support: Prepare new client paperwork and retainer agreements, and assist with other administrative tasks as needed. 

MUST be able to pass a background check and drug test. This position also requires BUSINESS CASUAL ATTIRE.
