We are currently seeking an experienced Insulator to join our team. As an Insulator, you will be responsible for installing insulation materials in various structures to improve energy efficiency and maintain temperature control. This is a full-time position and is temp to hire.
Duties:
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
- Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, and other designated areas
- Seal gaps and cracks to prevent air leakage
- Apply vapor barriers and fire-retardant coatings as necessary
- Use tools such as airless paint sprayers, staple guns, and utility knives
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Lift and transport insulation. 50 lb or more
Experience:
- Previous experience in insulation installation or related field preferred
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to insulation
- Familiarity with various insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, and cellulose
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications
- Experience with stucco, plaster, masonry, or other related trades is beneficial
