Beyond TalentEdge has partnered with a leading nationwide medical manufacturer to hire a Shift Maintenance Supervisor.
The Shift Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and direct the Finishing Shift Maintenance team, driving reliability, availability, and overall equipment effectiveness across the Finishing Work Center. This position manages daily operations including work schedules, assignments, training, performance reviews, and coaching, while ensuring maintenance plans align with business objectives and safety standards.
Schedule: Firemen’s Rotation — two 12-hour days (6:00am–6:00pm) followed by two 12-hour nights (6:00pm–6:00am).
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on leadership to build and sustain a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Develop staff skills and competencies, participate in root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives, and collaborate closely with Operations and Maintenance teams. Oversee maintenance response to unscheduled downtime and ensure adherence to procedures, documentation, and audit readiness. This role operates in a manufacturing and laboratory setting, with exposure to chemicals, biological materials, and production machinery. It involves extended standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Flexibility in work hours is required to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Required:

2- or 4-year degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities

Commitment to operational excellence and safety
Preferred:

Experience with GMP compliance

2+ years of leadership experience

5+ years of maintenance experience in a production environment
Salary $65K-$118K
