Responsibilities:

Review press and bindery tickets to fully understand job requirements.

Collect all pertinent job information and materials, including job bags, cut pieces, and tickets.

Inspect printed materials for defects and verify job specifications with proofs and tickets.

Set up and operate machinery to ensure accurate production.
-
Obtain approval of mounted samples from a Senior Operator before continuing production.

Direct helpers by reviewing job tickets and explaining assigned tasks.

Feed materials into the machine, monitoring position, transfer, and sheet quality throughout.

Complete load tags, bindery tickets, and enter updates into the job tracking system.

Maintain a clean machine and work area; perform preventative maintenance as required.

Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to a Senior Operator or Finishing Manager.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in the print or packaging industry preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment.

Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Salary & Schedule:
-
$22-$26 per hour plus shift differential for B shift

Schedule: A shift (7am-3:30pm) or B shift (3:30pm-12am)
