Responsibilities:

• Review press and bindery tickets to fully understand job requirements.

• Collect all pertinent job information and materials, including job bags, cut pieces, and tickets.

• Inspect printed materials for defects and verify job specifications with proofs and tickets.

• Set up and operate machinery to ensure accurate production.

• Obtain approval of mounted samples from a Senior Operator before continuing production.

• Direct helpers by reviewing job tickets and explaining assigned tasks.

• Feed materials into the machine, monitoring position, transfer, and sheet quality throughout.

• Complete load tags, bindery tickets, and enter updates into the job tracking system.

• Maintain a clean machine and work area; perform preventative maintenance as required.

• Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to a Senior Operator or Finishing Manager.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the print or packaging industry preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Salary & Schedule:

• $22-$26 per hour plus shift differential for B shift

• Schedule: A shift (7am-3:30pm) or B shift (3:30pm-12am)
