Beyond TalentEdge is currently recruiting for a Senior Operator to support a growing medical manufacturing facility in Rochester, NY.
The Senior Operator is responsible for executing manufacturing and support processes in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role includes operating and troubleshooting production equipment, documenting production activities, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. The Senior Operator also plays a key role in supporting team development by training others and providing guidance on standard procedures.
Responsibilities:

Set up and operate production equipment to manufacture in-process and finished goods.

Execute manufacturing procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP standards.

Operate and troubleshoot equipment in both cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments.

Accurately complete documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and GMP forms.

Perform material transactions using the ERP system.

Conduct routine cleaning, maintenance, and basic repairs on equipment.

Take product samples for downstream testing following established procedures.

Follow production schedules and prioritize workloads effectively.

Adhere to safety protocols and wear proper PPE in designated areas.

Identify workflow improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Serve as a training resource to junior operators.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
3–5 years of relevant industry experience

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment

Effective communication and team collaboration skills

Ability to lead and train others

Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred:

Experience operating packaging and filling equipment
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP ERP systems

Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools
