Beyond TalentEdge has a temp to hire opportunity for a Die Cutting Helper – 2nd Shift. Our client is one of the leaders in providing innovative and secure solutions for printing and packaging.
The Die Cutting Helper plays a key support role on our production floor. You will assist Die Cutter Operators with loading paper, monitoring product quality, and keeping machines supplied and running efficiently. This is an ideal entry-level position for someone looking to grow in the packaging and print manufacturing industry. Training will be provided to help you succeed.
Responsibilities:

Assist Die Cutter Operators by loading paperboard into Bobst die cutting machines (including Bobst 102SE, SP102EII, and Nova Cut models)

Monitor output for quality issues such as bad cuts, registration problems, or damage
-
Remove finished stacks from the machine and stage for the next department

Help with machine clean-up and changeovers between jobs

Communicate issues clearly with the machine setup operator or supervisor

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift

Support production goals by keeping materials stocked and ready

Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

Perform additional general labor tasks as needed to keep production moving
Requirement Qualifications:

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally

Able to stand, bend, and move for 8+ hour shifts

Strong attention to detail and good work ethic

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn

Must be reliable and punctual

Overtime may be required as needed

Prior experience in a manufacturing or print production environment Preferred

Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus

Basic mechanical or machine knowledge helpful
Salary & Schedule:
$18.00 per hour
