Small Machine Operator-Direct Hire!

Beyond TalentEdge has partnered with a local print manufacturing company in search of a Small Machine Operator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Receive job instructions from machine operator.

• Review press & bindery ticket to completely understand work to be done.

• Set up work area (e.g. boxes, labels, skids, etc.).

• Note any defects in the printed material by reviewing any quality tags.

• Gather or collect material from the machine

• Feed machine if necessary, checking quality of work often.

• Pack material per operator or bindery tickets’ instructions.

• Complete load tag

• Add in job tracking computer.

• Clean area surrounding machine.

• Immediately alert Senior Operator or Finishing Manager of any machine or safety problems.

Requirement Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with machine operation

• Knowledge with measurements

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Be able to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines and priorities.

• Able to read a mechanical drawing.

• Must be computer knowledgeable.

• Must be able to perform simple programing.

• Good mathematical aptitude

• Computer literate

Salary & Schedule:

$17-$20/hour depending on experience

Available to train on 1^st shift and work 2^nd shift
