Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced Sr. Structural Engineer with Civil-Site experience for their Buffalo location. Our client is a growing multi-disciplined Architecture/Engineering firm that has been serving their clients for 4 decades. They are a full service architectural/engineering firm with seven locations in New York State.
As a Senior Engineer you will be leading structural projects across New York State.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Independently develop and/or oversee the development of structural analysis models and calculation packages to support the structural design of various structure types.

Delegate and/or assign design tasks to junior staff to support the structural design of various structure types.

Oversee and assist in the preparation of comprehensive drawing packages using Revit, AutoCAD, etc.

Oversee and assist in the development and review of technical engineering documents, design plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.

Serve as the Engineer of Record for designs

Travel within New York State for project design investigations and/or construction support oversight.

Experience with Bentley structural engineering analysis software such as STAAD Pro, RAM Elements, or similar.

Proven experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Mathcad, spreadsheet tools, etc.

Proven ability to progress technical concepts from inception through final design with minimum oversight on an array of structural analysis and design projects.

Proven ability to lead small design teams and prioritize multiple assignments with multiple disciplines.
Qualifications:

BS or MS Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering (including structural analysis, steel design, and concrete design).

CPESC, LEED AP, and/or ENV SP certification a plus.

10+ years of experience.

$120,000 - $140,000
