Beyond Talent Edge is recruiting for a Scheduling Specialist for a local healthcare facility.
The Scheduling Specialist prepares requisitions, schedules and other documents necessary for the homebound technicians to perform their duties. Accurately records essential information and maintains patient information, standing orders and nursing home requests. Provide direction to Homebound Service Scheduling Assistant and Technicians.

 

Pay starting at $19

 

Schedule:

Tuesday- Friday 9am-6pm

Saturday 6am- 3pm

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare requisitions, schedules and other documents necessary for the homebound technicians to perform their duties.

  • Address all phone calls promptly and professionally.

  • Accurately record essential information to provide the proper documentation of the customers’ requirements.

  • Accurately maintain patient information, standing orders, and nursing home requests.

  • Ensure all client requests are delegated to the correct personnel within the timeframe needed.

  • Perform file maintenance on all systems including Excel, Word, LIS (Laboratory Information System), and Access programs.

  • Provide direction to Homebound Service Scheduling Assistant and Technicians.

  • Work closely with Homebound Services Supervisor to provide and maintain efficient operations.

  • Communicate daily with the Homebound Services Supervisor concerning customer service issues and concerns.

  • File and archive all patient records in accordance with Quality Assurance guidelines.

  • On a daily basis, responsible for collecting and submitting all Mileage

  • Documentation and Travel Forms to the Homebound Services Supervisor for approval.

  • Reconcile the “End of Shift Log” daily to ensure all assignments have been completed and delivered to Specimen Processing for testing.

  • Prepare “On Call” schedules weekly. Provide copies to all essential personnel and departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1 year experience in Customer Service or appointment scheduling required.
