Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced and licensed Land Surveyor. Our client is a growing multi-disciplined Architecture/Engineering firm that has been serving their clients for 4 decades. They are a full service architectural/engineering firm with seven locations in New York State.
This position will report to the Director of Land Surveying.
This position will primarily be an office role (Rochester) assisting/mentoring with field work as needed.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Mentoring staff

Managing field crew’s schedule

Prepping scope documents and other information for field crews

Assisting with project management / project estimating

Technical survey duties (adjustments, mapping, etc.)
Qualifications:
-
NYS Licensed Land Surveyor required

8+ years’ experience with Engineering/Land Survey Firm

Must have in-depth experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD / Civil 3d
-
Experience with NYSDOT survey procedures, a plus
-
Experience with sUAS, a plus

Experience with terrestrial and/or mobile LiDAR, a plus

The candidate must work well in a team environment

$95,000 - $120,000
