Beyond TalentEdge has an exciting opportunity for an Outside Sales Consultant. This position is based in the Rochester, NY Must live in the drivable territory.

Selling cleaning services to business owners, for the leader in the industry, will have comprehensive sales training, tools and resources to accelerate your career.

This is a consultative sales role, targeting a diverse range of B2B markets including healthcare, commercial, education, industrial, retail and manufacturing.

Your Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Generating new business opportunities with a combination of cold calling and in the field.

  • Minimum education: College degree required

  • 1-2 years Sales experience, fundraising or clubs, internships

  • Recent college graduate is welcome to apply

  • 2 years Customer Service experience

  • Ability to deliver both in person and virtual presentation.

  • Enthusiastic, driven, and need to finish. Confident team player mentality

  • Consistently reliable attendance.

  • Proficiency in computer skills is not limited to, but includes Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel. Includes mobile technologies, emails and web applications.

  • Able to work in the field canvassing and running appointments 75% of the time.

  • Protected Territories with thousands of pre-qualified leads

  • Participate in, and assist with, weekly staff and sales meetings.

  • Responsible for being the subject matter expert, efficient in selling new accounts.

  • Evaluate and determine the needs of Prospects in order to offer a proposal that will resolve the challenges of the potential customer.

  • Sell supplies (toiletries, towels, hand soaps, etc.) to new customers.

  • Assist the Franchise Business Owner in selling additional services (increases in frequency or Scope of work, floor care services, etc.) to current and new customers.

  • Ability to develop the selling skills necessary to reach the monthly sales quotas.

  • This includes but is not limited to attending outside training seminars as directed by the company, reading materials related to on-the-job performance, and participating in regular performance reviews with designated person(s).

  • Maintain completion of a minimum of 40-50 calls per day and a minimum of ten door knocks per day excluding Fridays.

  • Set a minimum of 16 appointments per month that generate proposals-regardless of days worked.

  • Absolute mastery of the “Pre-Close Call” and Appointment Questionnaire.

  • Quota after first 6 months - continual 3-month trailing average of $3,500 per month in Close/starts with a minimum of $3500 in account closes and starts in any given month.

  • Maintain a closing percentage of greater than 30% (units and dollar volume).

  • Sell additional services and initial cleans. Minimum of 50% average initial cleans sold on new starts.

  • Prospect/Door knock at neighbors of your appointment’s minimum of 10 per day, excluding Fridays

  • Network and utilize multiple lead generators to increase the number of Top 1500 leads within your territory
