Job description
Staff will interact on a continual basis with outside sales staff, production, technical and warehousing in an effort to communicate effectively with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm or as needed
• Salary Range (Based on experience): $40,000-$45,000+ Quarterly commission (total comp potential $60K+)
• Location: Thomson, GA
Responsibilities:
To include but not limited to:
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding products, quotations, availability and production lead times.
• Understand customer needs and requirements.
• Develop meaningful relationships with new and existing customers.
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and targeted outbound cold calls and emails.
• Provide support in scheduling meetings for existing customers or new customers, as required.
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, availability, usage and pricing.
• Work directly with the outside sales team to develop and grow new and existing business into long term, profitable accounts.
• Confirm all technical information with customer and/or outside sales manager and enter orders into system.
• Generate production orders per customer PO’s and projected usage.
• Work closely with production to ensure on time availability and delivery of material.
Requirements and Skills:
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to operate effectively with high quality output in a fast-paced work environment, while adapting to quickly changing priorities.
• Possess a high level of integrity while working independently and in a team environment.
• Computer literate with proficiency utilizing Microsoft software products.
• Basic mathematical calculations to determine weights, percentages, area and volume.
• Strong phone presence.
Education and Experience:
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
