Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial reports to senior management.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support business operations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and industry standards.
Perform cost analysis and financial assessments related to ongoing construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and expenses.
Conduct audits and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations.
Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or related industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting, and tax laws.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
