Shift: 6:45am – 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday 6:45am-12pm Fridays
Pay: $23-$30/hr

About this Opportunity:
Atlas Staffing has partnered with a growing manufacturer of machined and assembled components using the CNC machine technologies including Swiss CNC, Mori Seiki Lathes and Mills.
Our client is looking for experienced milling and lathe operators to operate and maintain CNC equipment. As a CNC Mill Operator and Programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to troubleshoot any machine issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
Job Summary Operator utilizes CNC Swiss machines, qualified candidate should be able to operate and maintain CNC Swiss equipment. As a CNC Swiss Operator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to address machining issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities and Duties

Operator utilizing CNC Swiss, Citizen and Tsugami to perform a series of progressive machining operations requiring a high degree of skill.

Demonstrated proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Perform daily maintenance of machines as required.

Understanding of work holding

Operators may run more than one unit simultaneously.

Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC operational procedures.

Maintain a clean, safe work area.
Qualifications and Skills
-
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Swiss Operator, programming a plus

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
-
Ability to perform metric conversions
-
Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings

Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
-
5 or more years of related experience
